Is the Glock 20 (10mm Auto) a good firearm?

You get what you pay for when it comes to firearms. The 10mm has a lot of stompin power yes, but the ammo is expensive and not as readily availible as a 9mm, 40 S&W or 45 ACP. There are several choices out there: Para Ordnance, Beretta,Russian Makarov and more. The Glock is an excellent choice but another very similar, I mean very similar looking handgun is Springfield Armory XD(m). Its a .40 S&W and has a 16 round magazine and one in the chamber. My friend just bought one and is home from Iraq shooting it. There was an article in "Hangun" magazine and they bragged about it!! Good luck and also check out gunbroker.com.
