Can anyone help me with excel?

in excel i have to type all in ariel font but it automaticaly come with Calibiro font why is that i have to change it after each and every word. please help me i am ESL student (sorry about my broken English) i am in computer cl and we just start excel now and i dont have a single clue about it pleases help me.
