TS Eduard ? Another media hype in houston?

Oh yeah, people def over react to these storms, I'm not saying dont be prepared, but like you said, people in Cypress and on the other side of Houston stocking up on bottled water and canned food that could last for weeks? Give me a break! I live in La Porte and my house in half a mile from the water, so I would be the one needing to be a little more prepared than some of these other people. Also, for evacuation purposes, when I evacuted during Rita, it took me 28 hours to get somewhere that should of only taken me 1 1/2 hours, but the reason it took so long was because people were evacuating that lived in Houston! The people in Galveston and all the towns right on the coast had to evacuate, it was manditory, but Spring people? Their the reason the traffic was so horrible.. One thing is for sure, unless its a strong C5 hurricane, I'm not leaving! And like I said, I live right on the water!
