Contractors/Repairmen?

Good thoughts in all these answers. There should be a penalty clause for not completing on schedule as opposed to you paying more to have it done on time. A contractor with integrity would understand that you need to get things done and get your house back. They have the option from the beginning to allow themselves leeway when they give you a proposal but once agreed upon they should meet the schedule and communicate with you on a daily basis as to progress or any slowdown that might crop up and why.
