Can apes, like gorrillas and orangutangs mate to form half-breeds?

It seems to me that if a horse and a donkey can mate to make a mule then a gorrilla and orangutang or chimpanzee and some other monkey should be able to as well. I'm not sure. And if they can what are the new animals called. Could the same thing apply to monkeys?
