Should he stay or should he go?

To make a long story shorter...alcoholic husband has severe chronic back pain (for 15 yrs, is on methadone for it), has started drinking again, spent $300 in 2 days on crack (no proof, I just know) and is now off buying pain pills (methadone) from an acquaintance cause he's been out of his for 2 weeks, which is probably what sent him on this downward spiral. Course he could be out buying more coke for all I know....Anyway, I've been through this crap with him before, and anyone who lives with someone with dependency issues know what it's like. My question is, should I tie him up (it's the best way to keep him out of trouble) and throw him in the closet, or out in the tool shed where he's more out of the way?
