What do you think about the house rejecting the 7.2 billion for our 9/11 heroes?

I think it is appalling. The Republicans use the 9/11 first reponders, the unemployed, and the troops to advance their agendas, and appeal to the better sides of all Americans; and then they spit on them when the time comes to help them. It sickens me to the very core. I am amazed to hear that they have now rallied around brininging the troops home, which has always been a Liberal viewpoint; but they use it for their own political gains, why where they not screaming about this when Bush was in office? They have the audacity to say that they voted down this money for these 9/11 responders because they wanted to make sure that there were provisions explicitly denying aid to illegal immigrants. If there were illegal immigrants that helped rescue people with little regard for their own health, why are they not heroes as well? Are we saying that only Americans can be heroes, and the rest of the world be damned?
